The debilitating physical pain, mental and emotional anguish, and spiritual depletion caused by Endometriosis are difficult to live with, and the lack of lasting treatments can make a joyful, meaningful life feel far out of reach. Finding a psychotherapist who understands this unusual journey can be challenging.
When I was diagnosed with Endometriosis after many years of progressive suffering, I felt that a weight had been lifted. Finally understanding the root cause of my pain allowed me to begin making sense of the ways in which illness had impacted every area of my life. Diagnosis set me on course to reconnect with myself and others as I learned how to be well on a day-to-day basis, while caring for myself effectively during the inevitable flare ups.
In searching for help in living with Endometriosis, I discovered quickly that it is hard to find practitioners who truly understand the day-to-day challenges of this disease. For this reason, I’ve dedicated my work toward helping other women who have been diagnosed with Endometriosis.
If you are struggling to cope with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and trauma symptoms due to Endometriosis, I would like to help you. I know how hard it can be to do life with Endo, and I also know that it's possible to take control, implement strategies for wellness, and move on. Therapy for Endometriosis can be a meaningful step in this process. Please reach out, and let's talk about how this work might help you.
